Lawrence Essex is a director, cinematographer and writer working across film, fashion and commercial work. He has recently wrapped principal photography on his debut feature film, with a second feature currently in development, alongside a growing body of short-form narrative work.

As a cinematographer, Lawrence has shot A-list talent and high-end brands around the world, bringing a cinematic, story-led approach to everything from fashion films to branded campaigns.

His debut novel, Ultimate Adventure, was published in 2023.
